Diane Roseworth is one of the two protagonists of Road of The Dead 2.
Diane is a soldier of the US Military and the only survivor of patrol unit Kilo-5 after the rest of team got into an accident. Most of her team met their untimely demise at a zombie ambush afterwards. She was nearly killed too but was saved by Cocheta Solomon, the other protagonist of RotD2, running over the remaining zombies with his Humvee. After getting in Cocheta's humvee, Cocheta attempts to convince Diane that they should move west, out of the city, before its completely overrun. Diane initially rejects the idea but is eventually convinced.
After making it through the overrun streets of Evan City to Madera District, a Hellfire support chopper is able to contact them, informing them that the West side is completely overrun and military evacuation attempts are being made on Highway 65's Chinatown exit. The chopper provides air support for a short time before having to regroup with the evacuation transport. Diane and Cocheta head for Chinatown only to find that all the transport have already left. It is around this time where they intercept a radio transmission from General Sherman ordering a nuclear strike on the city. Eventually, after getting off the highway, Cocheta is able to contact Flyboy 1, General Sherman's helicopter, and manages to convince him to extract them from Fairview's mall before the nuke goes off.
Diane and Cocheta manage to make it through Northside park to Fairview Mall and after holding out against a wave of zombies, Flyboy 1 is able to extract the two and get out of the blast radius before its too late. It is at this point where Flyboy 1 loses communication with almost all other military units as HQ is overrun. Sherman, Diane and Cocheta all agree to meet up with Sherman's last remaining unit, Unit Casper, at a small town called Alliance.
Notably, Diane appears to be quite physically weak and of short stature. This is seen when she struggles to get the Brute off of her and nearly gets bitten by it. Also, when the nuke is launched and hits Sherman's helicopter, Cocheta is able to hold on fine but Diane struggles and groans while holding on.
Weapons[]
In Road of The Dead 2, both Diane and Cocheta have a different list of weapons they can choose from.
If Diane is chosen as the gunner, she will have access to the Pistol and Shotgun. She can later obtain the Compact SMG and Assault Rifle using RP, the in-game currency.

Trivia[]
- Diane is the only female character we see in the entirety of the Saga of The Dead series. Other female characters are heard but have no physical presence. It may also be possible that the masked soldiers in RotD1 could have been female but their presence is too insignificant.
- Diane is also the only soldier who does not wear a helmet for majority of Road of The Dead 2, as it was knocked off by a zombie in the Kilo-5 ambush.
- Diane and unit Kilo-5 was deployed in Evan City near the beginning of the fall of Evan City, presumably Day 2 or 3 of the outbreak.
